Itinerary

The tour starts with hotel pick-up in Puerto Villamil and transfer to El Cura station for National Park registration. From there, you travel to the crater of Sierra Negra Volcano to begin a guided hike inside the caldera toward the Sulfur Mines. Along the way, the landscape changes into a dramatic volcanic terrain with active fumaroles and bright yellow sulfur deposits. After the hike, you return to town with a brief stop at a local farm before arriving back in Puerto Villamil.
