Santa Fe is widely recognized as one of the best snorkeling spots in the Galápagos Islands. Its calm, crystal-clear water and protected bay offer ideal conditions for exploring vibrant marine ecosystems in a beautiful natural setting.

Look for sea turtles, colorful tropical fish, rays and occasionally reef sharks. Excellent visibility and rich biodiversity make this an exceptional experience for wildlife and nature lovers.

Your day at a glance

  1. Morning departure

    Meet at the agency at 8:00 AM and navigate from Santa Cruz to Santa Fe Island.

  2. Snorkeling in Barrington Bay

    Swim alongside sea lions, turtles, reef sharks, rays and colorful fish in clear, protected waters.

  3. Playa Escondida

    Land on a beautiful sandy beach to relax or enjoy more snorkeling in this peaceful setting.

  4. Lunch & return

    Enjoy a tasty lunch served on board and return to Puerto Ayora at approximately 3:30 PM.
