ONE OF GALÁPAGOS’ GREAT MARINE ICONS
Volcanic cliffs, hammerheads & turquoise beaches
Also known as León Dormido, this impressive volcanic formation rises about 140 meters above the sea. Its two towering cliffs form a narrow channel and one of the best snorkeling sites in the Galápagos. Look for hammerhead and Galápagos sharks, blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, eagle rays, octopus and large schools of fish, while sea lions and seabirds inhabit the cliffs above.
