Overview

Also known as Leon Dormido, this impressive volcanic formation rises about 140 meters above sea level and is split into two towering cliffs that form a narrow channel. It is one of the best snorkeling and diving sites in the Galápagos. Here you may encounter hammerhead sharks (especially from July to October), Galápagos sharks, blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, eagle rays, octopus, and large schools of fish. The cliffs are also home to sea lions, blue footed boobies, and other seabirds.

Kicker Rock

Snorkeling at Kicker Rock takes you through a dramatic volcanic channel where you can see sea turtles, rays, large schools of fish, and even hammerhead sharks, making it one of the most exciting marine experiences in the Galápagos.

Beach Visit (Cerro Brujo, Manglecito, or Puerto Grande)

Depending on the itinerary authorized by the Galápagos National Park, the tour continues to one of the island’s stunning beaches:
Cerro Brujo – A spectacular white sand beach with crystal clear waters and views of Kicker Rock.
Playa Manglecito – A peaceful beach surrounded by mangroves, ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
Puerto Grande – A calm and scenic beach framed by volcanic landscapes and rich wildlife.
