Wildlife at the edge of the archipelago

Albatrosses, coastal cliffs & Gardner Bay

Depart from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno for Española, one of the oldest and most remarkable islands in the Galápagos. Depending on the National Park itinerary, visit Punta Suárez or Punta Cevallos for a guided walk among blue-footed and Nazca boobies, marine iguanas, sea lions and waved albatrosses in season.

Continue to Gardner Bay for its white-sand beach, lunch aboard and snorkeling with sea turtles, rays, playful sea lions and tropical fish.

Expedition itinerary

Your day at a glance

  1. Departure from San Cristóbal

    Meet in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and board the yacht for navigation toward Española Island.

  2. Punta Suárez or Punta Cevallos

    Enjoy a guided wildlife walk according to the day’s National Park authorization. Look for waved albatrosses in season, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, tropicbirds, marine iguanas and sea lions.

  3. Coastal landscapes

    Explore Española’s dramatic lava cliffs and, when the itinerary visits Punta Suárez, observe the famous blowhole created by waves surging through the rocks.

  4. Gardner Bay

    Navigate to the white-sand beach, enjoy lunch aboard and snorkel in clear water with sea turtles, rays, sea lions and colorful fish.

  5. Return to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

    Board the yacht for the return navigation to San Cristóbal after the day’s wildlife and snorkeling activities.
