Discover the magic of Bartolomé, one of the most iconic islands in the Galápagos. Hike to the summit for panoramic views of Pinnacle Rock and the surrounding volcanic landscapes, then cool off with an unforgettable snorkeling adventure.

Swim alongside penguins, sea turtles, reef sharks, colorful fish and playful sea lions. With a professional naturalist guide, first-class snorkeling equipment and a comfortable yacht, this tour combines adventure, wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

Expedition itinerary

Your day at a glance

  1. Morning departure

    Hotel or meeting-point pickup from 6:00–7:00 AM, followed by a 40-minute bus transfer to Itabaca Channel, a Zodiac ride to the first-class yacht and a scenic two-hour navigation to Bartolomé.

  2. The summit hike

    Guided hike up 372 wooden steps, with viewpoints over volcanic cones and lava fields and 360° views of Pinnacle Rock and Sullivan Bay.

  3. Snorkeling adventure

    Return to the yacht, change into snorkeling gear and swim with Galapagos penguins and sea turtles. Look for white-tipped sharks and schools of tropical fish.

  4. Lunch & return

    Enjoy a chef-prepared lunch on board, navigate back to Santa Cruz and arrive in Puerto Ayora at approximately 5:00 PM.
