Itinerary

  • Hotel pick-up in Puerto Villamil and transfer to El Cura station, where the hike begins. After approximately 50 minutes of ascent, you will reach the main viewpoint of Sierra Negra’s caldera. The trail then continues along the crater rim toward Volcán Chico, crossing impressive lava fields and volcanic landscapes. After exploring and taking photos, return to El Cura station and transfer back to town in the early afternoon.
