8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS ITINERARY

Day 1 – San Cristóbal Island

  • AM: Arrival at San Cristóbal Airport. Transfer to the yacht and welcome briefing.
  • PM: Visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the history, ecosystems, and conservation efforts of the Galapagos, followed by a hike to Tijeretas Hill for panoramic views and the chance to spot frigatebirds.

Day 2 – Santa Fe & South Plazas

  • AM: Excursion to Santa Fe Island, home to land iguanas, sea lions, and a forest of giant prickly pear cacti.
  • PM: Explore South Plazas Island, famous for its colorful vegetation, large iguana colonies, and seabirds such as swallow-tailed gulls.

Day 3 – Santa Cruz Island

  • AM: Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where giant tortoise breeding programs support the conservation of these iconic animals.
  • PM: Excursion to the Highlands of Santa Cruz, where you can observe giant tortoises roaming freely in their natural habitat.

Day 4 – Isabela Island

  • AM: Hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano, which boasts one of the largest volcanic craters in the world.
  • PM: Discover the Humedales (Wetlands) and the historic Wall of Tears, an important cultural and natural site.

Day 5 – Isabela Island

  • AM: Landing at Moreno Point, a dramatic volcanic landscape with lava flows, lagoons, and abundant birdlife.
  • PM: Panga ride through Elizabeth Bay, a prime spot for observing penguins, rays, turtles, and sea lions.

Day 6 – Fernandina & Isabela Islands

  • AM: Explore Espinoza Point (Fernandina Island), known for its pristine environment, marine iguanas, and flightless cormorants.
  • PM: Navigate to Vicente Roca Point (Isabela) for snorkeling and panga rides, where you may encounter penguins, turtles, and an incredible diversity of marine life.

Day 7 – Santiago & Rábida Islands

  • AM: Visit Puerto Egas (Santiago Island), famous for its lava formations, tide pools, and Galapagos fur sea lions.
  • PM: Excursion to Rábida Island, distinguished by its striking red-sand beach and excellent snorkeling opportunities.

Day 8 – North Seymour & Departure

  • AM: Final excursion to North Seymour Island, home to blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and playful sea lions.
  • Transfer: Return to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The Aida María offers 8 comfortable double cabins, each designed for 2 guests with bunk-style beds. All cabins feature the same size, amenities, and price, and are distributed across three decks: 4 on the main deck, 2 on the upper deck, and 2 on the sun deck.
