For guests who do not have a diving certification, we offer a Discovery Dive experience, which includes one introductory dive accompanied by a certified instructor, plus one snorkeling session at a designated site. This option is ideal for beginners who would like to experience diving safely while enjoying the marine life of the Galápagos. At Galapagos Trails, we specialize in creating seamless and memorable travel experiences throughout the Galápagos Islands. While we are not a direct dive operator, we work closely with the most reputable and certified diving centers on each island to ensure our clients receive the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and service. Our team takes care of the entire reservation process for you, making it simple and stress-free. Instead of coordinating with multiple providers, you can organize everything directly through us — from tours and diving experiences to additional island services — all in one place, with personalized support every step of the way. At Galapagos Trails, we offer exceptional diving experiences at some of the most iconic sites in the Galápagos Islands, including:
  • Seymour
  • Mosquera
  • Daphne
  • Kicker Rock
Diving excursions operate from 7:00 AM to approximately 2:30 PM and include two dives per day, allowing ample time to fully explore these world-renowned underwater environments. Please note that all divers are required to try on and check their equipment the day before the tour between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to ensure proper fit and preparation for the dive.

Included in the experience:

  • Full diving equipment
  • Snacks on board
  • Towels
  • Underwater photos and videos
  • Small groups (maximum of 12 divers per departure)

Not included:

  • Tips/gratuities
  • Dive computer (available for rent at $25 USD)
Our diving programs are designed to ensure safety, comfort, and personalized attention in small groups. Prices typically range between $230 and $260 USD per person, depending on the season and travel dates. We invite you to contact us directly so we can assist you personally, confirm availability, and help you plan the perfect diving experience in the Galápagos. Our team will be delighted to guide you every step of the way.
